Cirque Assistant Service Manager

We are looking to fill the position of Cirque Assistant Service Manager at Cirque Restaurant, Fernie Alpine Resort.Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a positive attitude, be team orientated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You Will :

• Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Assist in developing cocktail menus and training manuals
• Assist in training all front of house staff
• Assist with general administrative duties such as payroll & scheduling
• Ensure your team is providing exceptional service to all guests in the restaurant
• Assist in daily inventory control systems
• Demonstrate and implement approved food handling procedures and ongoing cleanliness
• Serve and promote the Ice Bar
• Assist in the weekly liquor, wine and keg orders
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management / Return-to-Work Programs
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

This is a full-time, year-round position that requires the successful candidate to work a flexible shift pattern to meet the Hotel's variable guest volumes.
