About the Role :

As the Engineering Manager of Global Privacy, you will lead the technical strategy and be an important product strategy partner for three core charters :

• Deletion : Deliver products that provide customers and partners with secure, seamless experiences to address programmatic and on-demand deletion experiences. Ensure that retention schedules are followed. Provide assurance of notification, action, and confirmation.
• Data Access and Portability : Develop full-stack components and APIs that support customer's ability to exercise their privacy rights under applicable jurisdictional appropriate contexts.
• Consent : Maintain a system to honor privacy choices our customers express every day. Deliver assurance mechanisms to track compliance with international privacy regulations.

Customers and financial partners have high expectations for our products to be secure and compliant while still offering flexibility and excellent, seamless experiences. You will define our technical roadmap and execution of this strategy. You will partner with product and business leadership to explain the roadmap for these charters. You will hire and grow multiple engineers to build your vision. You will report to the Director of Global Privacy as part of the Security and Privacy organisation.

Compensation Details : The starting base salary range for this position is $148,000-$185,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
