Overview:

To work within the General Accounting and Financial Reporting teams at Mitel. Assisting with the year-end audit (and related filings), quarterly filings, special projects and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general month and quarter end closing tasks

• Assist with monthly entries to help consolidate all subs into the main ERP

• Assist with the proof of CTA

• Interactions with external and internal auditors

• Assist with preparing Financial Statement and MD&A tie out support

• Assist with proofing of the financial statements and other filings, etc.

• Analysis of certain accounting transactions

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance (in-progress)

• Attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and to work in a team

• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
