Summary:
The main function of a Systems Engineer is to perform a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment, providing investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
• Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment to the specifications of the business
• Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance
• Maintain configuration and support documentation
• Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
• Supervise the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users
• Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems through regular maintenance
• Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• + years experience required
• Broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering
• Experience with system capacity and planning, as well as functional configuration and audit
• Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses

La fonction principale d’un ingénieur système est d’effectuer diverses opérations d’installation, de configuration et de mise à niveau de serveurs, ainsi que du matériel et des logiciels associés, dans un environnement LAN, WAN et autonome. Il effectue des investigations, des tests de diagnostic et des réparations/résolutions de problèmes liés aux systèmes, au matériel, aux logiciels et à l’infrastructure.
Responsabilités du poste :
• Configuration, installation et support des équipements conformément aux spécifications de l’entreprise
• Maintenance régulière des applications logicielles et des systèmes d’exploitation
• Maintenance de la documentation de configuration et de support
• Gestion des projets et des composants de programme assignés afin de fournir des services conformes aux objectifs établis
• Supervision de l’administration des systèmes et des serveurs afin de garantir la disponibilité des services pour les utilisateurs autorisés
• Maintenance régulière des opérations réseau multisites, des applications logicielles et des systèmes d’exploitation
• Dépannage des dysfonctionnements du matériel, des applications logicielles et des systèmes de sécurité afin de résoudre les problèmes opérationnels et de rétablir les services
Qualifications :
• Licence en informatique, génie informatique ou domaine connexe requise
• Plus de ans d’expérience requise
• Connaissances approfondies en ingénierie des systèmes informatiques
• Expérience en capacité et planification des systèmes, ainsi qu’en configuration et audit fonctionnels
• Expérience en planification des systèmes, outils et analyses de capacité
