Senior Accountant

📍 Mississauga, ON (100% Onsite)

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and business partnering. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA or CPA-track professional looking to make an impact in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Own fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, reconciliations, and physical inventory reviews.
• Manage lease accounting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead reporting, forecasting, and analysis for capital assets and CapEx.
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Support audit, tax, and sales tax compliance activities for Canadian entities.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support key business decisions.
• Collaborate with Accounting, AP, AR, and FP& A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives across finance.

What We're Looking For

• CPA designation or later stages CPA required
• Strong experience in financial reporting, fixed assets, and lease accounting
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Experience with larger ERP systems is required,
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
