Logistics Coordinator
Our client an asset based 3rd party logistics company is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator in BC. Great opportunity to work with an awesome team!
Responsibilities :
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL
- Work on dedicated rail accounts as necessary
- Source carriers
- Track loads and provide customers with up-to-date information
- Manage and coordinate daily shipments with carriers and customers
- Liaise with customers and carriers to facilitate their pickup and delivery appointments
- Respond quickly to spot quotes
- Ensure TMS contains current and complete data
- Be available after hours to assist with resolving issues
- Follow up on delivery delays or security issues
- Ensure closure of all orders in the TMS system
- Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships
- Preform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
