Our team and the individual you'll support
You'll join a warm, welcoming and friendly team and the great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same.
As a member of our relief team, you'll help us to make sure that we can continue to deliver excellent care and support to a gentleman who is autistic and faces mobility challenges during times of colleague annual leave, training and absence.
You'll help this gentleman with all aspects of daily living, including going to appointments, personal care, shopping, cooking, housework and medication. You'll also find yourselves getting involved in many of his hobbies and interests too, which include going for walks, attending coffee mornings, Snoezelen and various community events.
About You
We’re looking for people who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of others. We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
