What we’re looking for :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Designer to join our growing team on a part- or full-time basis. Our ideal candidate is someone who can demonstrate abilities to execute full website mockups, has a passion for vectorial artwork, has experience creating SaaS dashboards, is an UI / UX tech savvy and loves experimenting with latest trends in web design (A portfolio is a must ).

WordPress is our main CMS, so we expect you to have knowledge of the major WordPress page builders and experience building elements that are easy to integrate with HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design process for websites and digital interfaces, ensuring an optimal balance between functionality and aesthetics
• Create visual strategies for multiple marketing channels
• Create wireframes or mockups for websites, landing pages and applications
• Design layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
• Create branding and identity materials for our clients
• Design graphics, icons, and logos
• Design and re-design custom WordPress themes
• Design custom Webflow single and multi-page projects
• Design custom SaaS applications, user dashboards
• Work with developers, content writers, PMs to implement visual elements of websites
• Research and evaluate new design trends
• Establish and maintain design standards and best practices

Requirements :

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer ( diplomas / certificates are an asset)
• Demonstrable web design skills, strong portfolio is a MUST
• Exceptional knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Figma and other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Strong command of colour theory, image composition, and typography
• Familiarity with digital photo editing
• Solid experience in creating wireframes for WordPress, platform knowledge is a big asset
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript are a big asset
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a big asset)
