Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Marketing for Prospr, the Digital Marketing Strategy Manager will work closely with the marketing and sales leadership teams to deliver marketing and communications initiatives to meet our growth focused objectives and drive business results for businesses. The role will be partnering with external and internal partners to drive strategy marketing strategy for Sun Life to build an end-to-end digital journey. In addition, the role will be collaborating with CXO, various business units, Analytics, agency partners and technical teams to drive insights and recommendations on behalf of the Growth and Performance team.
What will you do?
- Building the end-to-end strategy to establish and grow Prospr & SL Go
- Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Establish and implement marketing analytics standards and measurement plans to ensure we are successfully delivering on our goals
- Assess and implement growth optimization for multiple channels including digital display, paid search, paid social, online affiliate, external partnerships and e-mail channels
- Build and execute on A / B testing strategies to inform campaign strategies
- Establish strong working relationships with internal / external stakeholders - including Creative Services, Legal, Compliance, etc. – to launch new programs effectively
- Partner with team to test new channels and technology to drive innovation and client acquisition
- Manage marketing budget and forecasts to ensure spending is managed properly to achieve business growth objectives

What do you need to succeed?
Management experience of teams or individualsDigital Marketing – demonstrated experience in delivering direct to digital marketing programs (social media, paid search, affiliate marketing, etc.)Campaign Execution – demonstrated experience in managing performance-based digital marketing campaignsAnalytical Mindset – ability to draw insights from data to inform future campaign designOrganizational Skills – proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver against required timelines and budgetRelationship Management – proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal / external stakeholders up, down and across the organizationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), with superb attention to detail in reviewing marketing materialsAbility to work independently and closely with other team members across the organizationAbility to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendationsAgile marketing / development experienceExperience with marketing campaign / project managementExperience with web analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics)Experience with CRM tools and marketing technologiesUnderstanding of direct response marketing and conversion rate optimizationExperience with Tag Management tools such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, othersSolid knowledge of digital media strategies and bid management tools (Search, Social, Programmatic, etc.).What's in it for you?
