Therapeutic Recreation Programmer (AbleLiving Services, Binbrook)

We are currently seeking a Part Time Therapeutic Recreation Programmer to workwith our AbleLiving Binbrook Teamat our Congregate Living Program.

AbleLiving Services is part of the Thrive Group. We are a not-for-profit organization that provides services funded through Ontario Health. Ableliving opened its doors in 1978 with the first project being our Binbrook location. Our Binbrook location provides supports for individuals with disabilities seniors as well as those with long-term chronic ventilation support needs.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Under the direction of the Manager this position is responsible for planning and leading the implementation of life skills and recreation programs as identified by individual clients needs and goals. This position collaborates with internal staff and community partners for a holistic approach to programs and services. This position assists in evaluating the effectiveness of programs and implements changes as needed.
