Do you enjoy working with kids and are enthusiastic about literacy & learning? Then you may be who we are looking to hire to lead this year’s Summer Learning & Reading Challenge!
Our coordinators will need excellent communication and organizational skills and a passion to deliver programs that encourage pre-school and school-aged kids to celebrate the wonders of learning and most importantly have fun.
This temporary full-time position runs from May 4 th through August 14 th , 2026, for 15 weeks, 35 hours per week, and reports to our Youth Services Coordinator. Most of your work will take place during the day, Monday through Friday; however, one evening shift will be required from July to August, each week.
Experience working with children is an asset as is having knowledge of children’s literature & STEM, strong research skills and being a team player. Our successful candidates must be willing to provide a vulnerable sector & criminal record check as part of the hiring process.
Salary : $20.00 per hour paid on a biweekly basis
