About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team!

The Personal Lines Operations and Planning department is a national business team that drives strategic projects which support customer satisfaction, growth and profitability. The team offers development opportunities to help you grow your skills and career, as well as allowing flexibility in how and where you work. We are looking for a naturally curious, quick learner with exceptional analytical and organizational skills to join our team of Business Analysts.

Your mandate as a BA will be for the Marketing portfolio which aims to increase customer engagement, drive growth and launch innovative initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing business teams to understand and document their needs as well as with IT to ensure that the business needs are well understood.

What you will do here :

Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.

Lead or facilitate business requirements workshops.

Conduct impact analysis and estimate efforts for simple or complex initiatives.

Clarify and support other teams through the software development lifecycle.

Support quality assurance activities.

Support change management initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in analysis (Business, Functional) in Marketing or at an insurance, finance or technology related field.

Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint User - MS Visio and Miro an asset.

Ability to collaborate with others in person and through virtual communication.

Strong facilitation skills.

Superior organizational and prioritization skills and able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Strong analytical mind with ability to take initiative.

CBAP or Certified Product Owner an asset.

Excellent oral and written communication.

Experience and knowledge of agile and scrum framework is an asset.

Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
