Position / Person Summary :

CMH has a new and exciting digital health strategy focused on improving and implementing new applications as we advance towards a new Hospital Information System (HIS). To fulfill our objectives of growing our services to better meet the needs of our community transforming the way we work to create a more joyful and productive work environment leading boldly through preparation for our changing role and providing leadership in how care is provided in the community Cambridge Memorial Hospital must build a diverse health informatics team.

The Training and Testing Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the team responsible for transforming healthcare delivery. This position oversees the analysis and testing of system workflows and hardware while also coordinating a comprehensive HIS training program for the Project Team Super Users and End Users.

Working in close collaboration with the Information Technology Department Clinical Programs Professional Practice Health Information Management and external vendors the Coordinator ensures that all users receive comprehensive training to support a successful transition to the Oracle Cerner HIS.

Reporting to the Manager Clinical Informatics the Coordinator brings strong leadership and project management expertise to the development of robust testing and training strategies. They manage e-learning platforms in partnership with Information Technology the Project Quantum HIS team the Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) Digital Learning Team and Oracle Cerner consultants. Testing plans are developed in collaboration with the Project Quantum HIS team to ensure that hardware and workflows meet clinical and operational requirements.

The Coordinator demonstrates exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities enabling them to foster strong interprofessional relationships across programs. These partnerships are essential for driving successful adoption / implementation and sustaining the effective use of high-quality hospital information systems.
