Housekeeper required for Seniors' Living Facility.Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker, with a strong customer service focus, and superior cleaning skills to work in the position of Resident Services (Housekeeping).The ideal candidate should be safety and hygiene driven and have above average cleaning skills. We are also looking for a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.Does this sound like you? We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun, so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST.About the position:This is a Casual position that offers an average of 23-37.5 hours per week but more shifts may be offered based on availability.Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.Shifts to cover in this position are: 7:30am to 3:30pm, 8am to 2pm, 8am to 4pm, and/or 10:30pm to 6:30Basic Responsibilities of the Position Include:Clean common areas and resident rooms by completing such tasks as vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage containers, and cleaning surfacesplete specialized, seasonal, and deep cleaning duties.Using floor scrubbing and carpet cleaning equipment.Laundry duties.Facility lock up and ongoing facility checks as required for the shift.Other duties as required.What will be required for the position:A current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months).The ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.First Aid Certification, WHMIS Training, and Food Safe Certification is an asset.If you have housekeeping experience, please apply!Green Acres Foundation has been voted Best of the Best in Seniors Housing every year since 2019!Green Acres Foundation recognizes the diversity within the communities in which we serve and strive to ensure that our housing program and services, our facilities, and our employment opportunities are inclusive to all people.This personal information is being collected by Green Acres Foundation.
