Minimum 3 years’ experience in print and copying using production machine, binding machines and copier systemsMinimum 3 years’ experience inventory and materials management replenishment controlsPrevious Stores / Receiving experience is an assetDemonstrated computer skills to ensure accuracy of inventory management and receiving information entered into the Plexxus moduleStrong customer service skills when dealing with suppliers and hospital staffStrong organizational and priority setting skills with the ability to meet deadlinesAttention to detail in receiving, stores, copying and printingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWhat you bring to the role :
Fulfill daily / weekly print shop requestUpdate forms in system databaseReceive items, verify supplier’s packing slip and complete and maintain receiving documentationProcess receiving documentation in the computer systemStock shelves with receiving and stores itemsDeliver received goods to various departmentsPerform regular inventory counts for stores items and replenish when neededOrder inventory stock supplies to maintain quotasTrouble shoot mail room systemAssist the Stores Attendant as neededFrequent walking, climbing, pushing and pulling of carts and equipmentMust be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently and use a hydraulic pump truckDemonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standardsDemonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as requiredWork Schedule :
The current hours of work will be 8 am - 4 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please note that the shift is subject to change based on the operational needs of the department.
