Microbiology Production Technician – Entry Level

We are seeking motivated individuals with a background in biological sciences to join our team as Biofertilizer Production Technician. No prior industry experience is required; full training will be provided. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a sterile, aseptic environment.

In this role, you will :

Prepare, sterilize, and maintain microbiological media, reagents, buffers, and laboratory supplies

Perform routine microbiological biofertilizer production tasks

Lift and handle materials up to approximately 20 kg during production

Maintain accurate production records and documentation

Follow supervisor instructions to ensure a consistent, high-quality production environment

Use aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during sample handling and experimental work

Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment including flasks, autoclaves, incubators, shakers, and biosafety cabinets

Dispose of biological and chemical waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient laboratory environment

Qualifications & Skills

No certifications required

Educational background or coursework in biological sciences (e.g., microbiology, biology, biotechnology, biochemistry) preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Comfortable working in a contamination-controlled, sterile environment

Able to lift up to 50lbs

Work Environment & PPE

Aseptic, sterile, contamination-controlled laboratory environment

Working with microbial cultures

PPE provided and required at all times (lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
