About Us
Montessori Kids by OneHealth is an innovative therapy and education centre blending Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with Montessori principles We specialize in supporting neurodiverse children through 1 : 1 therapy, small group programming, and whole-child development. Our team operates within a collaborative, family-centered model, grounded in evidence-based practice, compassion, and respect for each child's unique strengths. This will be at our new onehealth functional centre in Bells Corners.
Behavioural Therapist
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Working 1 : 1 with children with developmental disabilities to increase their skill development based on individualized programming
- Learning and maintaining ethical standards of practice

Implement behaviour intervention and therapy programming for children with disabilitiesConduct assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK, etc.)Supporting children while delivering direct ABA-based programming in a centre-based, home-based, school-based, or community-based settingPreparation of teaching materials for assessments and daily programmingImplementing programs on a daily basis, monitoring progress, and the effectiveness of the individualized programsInvolvement in staff training, professional development opportunities, and behavioural assessmentsBasic hygiene care (changing clothes, diapers, bathroom breaks)Recording data dailyProviding updates to the parents for each assessment and programAbility to show compassion towards othersExcellent communications skills to effectively and accurately interact with patientsMust possess an active-listening skillBe patient with patients and other co-workersHave and showcase very strong interpersonal skillsMust have the ability to work independently once assigned a caseAbility to analyze a client and implement treatment programs with little to no supervisionMust have the ability to work with families, healthcare professionals, counselors, and othersAbility to practice skills; from listening to interpretative skillsQualifications and Skills :
Fluent in both English and French (required)Behavioural Science Technology Diploma, Autism Behavioural Science Certificate, Registered Behavioural Technician certificate, or related(preferred)Degree / Diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Education, Child and Youth Worker, or related field(required)6 months - 1 year experience working in a position with exposure to ABA techniques and strategies(preferred)Previous experience with working with children, highly energetic, enthusiastic, positive, creative, and have great play skillsMust be able to lift at least 30 Lbs, must be able to sit on the floor with children, be engaging, be able to run, walk at a fast pace and be energetic.Valid vulnerable sector check and CPR training is a requirement
