Position Title : Activity Leader On-Call

Location : YMCA Muheim School Age Care (3659 3 Ave, Smithers, BC V0J 2N0)

Term : Casual, On-Call

Hours : Hours may vary

Shift : Monday - Friday 6 : 30am - 9 : 00pm and 1 : 30pm - 5 : 30pm, NIDs and breaks falling between 7 : 30am - 5 : 30pm

Start Date : As soon as possible

Salary : $23.14 per hour for Activity Leader

Reports To : Team Leader

Nature & Scope

Join Our Team!  We’re seeking a compassionate and collaborative individual to support our inclusive before and after school program. In this part-time role, you’ll work closely with a dedicated staff team to create a welcoming environment where all children—regardless of their needs—can thrive. Responsibilities include supervising activities, providing individual support when needed, helping children navigate conflict, and role modeling positive behaviors. You’ll contribute to care plans, support children’s strengths, maintain an appropriate child to staff ratio, and ensure every child feels included and supported. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a child’s day while fostering a community of belonging and growth.
