Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Health & Safety Coordinator to support a growing team and contribute to a proactive safety culture. This role plays an essential part in maintaining compliance with Ontario safety regulations and strengthening the company's overall Health & Safety program.
The Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety programs. This role helps ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) , manages safety documentation, coordinates training, and assists with audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities :
Health & Safety Program Support
Help develop, update, and maintain the company's Health & Safety Program.Maintain policies, procedures, training records, and incident documentation.Distribute safety communications and program updates.Compliance & Reporting
Track regulatory requirements and ensure documentation is up to date for audits and inspections.Prepare compliance reports and assist with internal / external audit activities.Training & Orientation
Schedule and maintain safety training such as WHMIS, First Aid / CPR, and violence prevention.Deliver new-hire safety orientations and support ongoing training.Manage certification tracking and the company training matrix.JHSC & Meeting Coordination
Organize Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.Maintain required JHSC documentation under OHSA.Inspections & Incident Support
Assist with workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety observations.Support incident investigations through documentation gathering and follow-up tracking.PPE & Equipment Coordination
Manage PPE inventory, distribution, and procurement.Employee & Administrative Support
Serve as a point of contact for safety-related questions.Maintain safety dashboards, filing systems, calendars, and general administrative tasksQualifications :
Strong knowledge of Ontario's OHSA and related regulations.Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, HR, Business, or related field (preferred).Health & Safety certificates (JHSC, CRSP, OHS certificate) considered an asset.Excellent organization, accuracy, and documentation skills.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Professional, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
