Job Title : Program and Kitchen Coordinator

Salary : $22.50-24.50 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
Job Purpose
The SCCYI is introducing its first dual‑role position within our full‑time team. We are seeking an individual with a strong desire to serve youth and families through both daily program support and food services operations .
The youth who call The Center their community depend on trusted, capable adults to support them in discovering purpose and developing positive role models. They also rely on consistent access to nutritious food while participating in our programs. This role plays a vital part in supporting both needs.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing snacks on Mondays and preparing in‑house meals Tuesday through Thursday during the school year for approximately 20–40 youth . In addition, this position will oversee the Center Perk Coffee Shop , a youth employment initiative that provides three youth with their first work experience while learning foundational job skills and building confidence. They will also assist in the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser and Desserts for Hope fundraiser , collaborate with the program team in social media creation, and take a lead role in our Centered Mentoring Program.
SCCYI envisions this dual role as an opportunity to bring creativity, strengths, and fresh ideas to a growing program that supports youth in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment .
