Job Description:
- Proactive & reactive security patrols
- Cross-training and rotation with control centre staff
- Surveillance monitoring
- Response to incidents
- Report writing
- Investigate routine incidents
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force certification
- Ability to work in a fast-pace and flexible environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism
- Moderate physical activity, standing and walking for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
- Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
- Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
- Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written English and French communication skills Required
- Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force Certification
- Paladin Security is willing to offer this certification on a commitment contract (minimum of six (6) months) for new hires upon OnboardingPaladin provides an opt-in certification program for applicants who are not currently certified prior to your Paladin onboarding. More details are available as requested during the interview
