Working with Mighton Engineering With over 250 projects completed each year, you’ll enjoy new challenges and exciting learning opportunities regularly. We keep up with cutting-edge technology, and strive to be on the forefront of electrical design (we can’t wait for you to check out our virtual reality room, where you’ll model your projects!). With us, there is no doubt that you’ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge. We care about investing in our employees for the long-run, and if you ask our team, they’ll tell you that’s just one of the many reasons why they stick around. We want to be a place where they can experience career growth and satisfaction for many years – and with 28 years in business, we’re proud to have achieved that already. Here’s what else you’ll enjoy as part of our team: * Competitive salary between $80,000-$100,000/year (negotiable depending on experience) + health and dental benefits * 3 weeks’ vacation to start (negotiable depending on industry experience) + extra time off during our winter holiday closure * Full-time, permanent role with flexible scheduling available (core hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm) * Leave early on Fridays throughout the year + Friday afternoons off in July and August * All travel expenses paid * Paid attendance for industry training and conferences Qualifications * Registered P. Eng in Ontario (or close to obtaining your P. Eng) * Experience working as an electrical engineer * Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit for electrical engineering design * Project experience with any of the following would be an asset: lighting solutions for residential and/or commercial projects, high voltage design, fire alarm design * Experience consulting with clients in an engineering capacity is preferred * Post-secondary degree in electrical engineering * Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (for client and job site visits) How to Apply Our online application gives you the chance to apply as more than just a resume. We’ll assess your qualifications, personality traits and workplace preferences, which should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. After submitting, you'll be able to view your results. We strive to build diverse teams that reflect the community, and encourage applications from underrepresented groups such as women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, people identifying as LGBTQ2SI, veterans, and people with disabilities.
