Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) – FP&A & Corporate Accounting (Hybrid Role) 2 Month Contract

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to support both Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Corporate Accounting functions. This hybrid role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys bridging operational finance, strategic analysis, and accounting integrity. The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close, variance analysis, and supporting leadership decision-making.
This position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, financial modeling capabilities, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly across departments.

Key Responsibilities
FP&A Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments.
• Prepare monthly financial packages, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
• Support ad hoc analysis related to pricing, cost optimization, investments, and business performance.

Corporate Accounting Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Support external audit requests and internal control documentation.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting and reporting functions.
• Support tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation completed or in progress preferred.
• 3–6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a mid-sized or growth-oriented organization.
• Exposure to budgeting software and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience supporting audits and cross-functional finance initiatives.
• Knowledge of process automation or financial systems optimization

Pay Rate
$40.00 / Hour
