If you share a passion for safety, security and are ready to learn about how Hydro One Security Operations is continually driving forward its mission to secure Ontario's critical electrical infrastructure, we would love to hear from you. Students hired into this co-op role in the Unified Securitiy Solutions department will be given the opportunity to learn about Hydro One's leading edge unified physical security systems used to secure Hydro One’s personnel, property, assets and infrastructure. Students will learn operational and business writing, advanced data analytics and problem solving skills, project coordination, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing assessment of physical security programs and technologies. In addition there will be opportunities to develop strong working relations with external physical security vendors and internal Hydro One lines of business.

Job Requirements :
Disciplines : IT, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration.
Academic Level : Completed 2 years of university
Have excellent investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills. Show enthusiasm for all work assignments. Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment and in cross-functional teams.
Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Teams)
Have a basic understanding of IP networks and hardware.
A basic understanding of low voltage systems is preferred.
Additional Job Conditions :
Must complete mandatory Hydro One orientation and security training courses.
Must complete mandatory Hydro One security screening
Must have a valid Ontario drivers license
