You will perform assembly and disassembly work on aero derivative gas turbine engines and their modules to support new build sales and the repair and overhaul businesses.All work is performed with health and safety as our priority under a culture of quality assurance and a focus on the customer.You will be working with a trained team that are working together to satisfy customer expectations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assembly and disassembly of gas turbine engines and modules for new build sales or for repair and overhaul activities
- Assembly of compressor, combustion and turbine modules using detailed build instructions
- Assembly of modules into a gas turbine engine and application of piping, accessories, and externals
- Balancing of shaft and discs and Rotor assemblies
- Measurement and assembly verification actions
- Movement of modules and assemblies between stations
- Disassembly of engine and modules for repair and overhaul
- Preparation of gas turbine engine for shipment to the customer
What You Bring
A college diploma in aeronautics; orA certificate of study in aeronautics recognized by the Ministry of Education; orA diploma of professional studies in aerospace; orA relevant aeronautical training and experience acquired in the Canadian armed forces.
