As a security officer in the Aviation sector, you will be responsible for safeguarding staff, passengers, and property within the airport. We are seeking 2 Part-Time Aviation Security Officers to work with one of our key clients in Winnipeg. In this position, you will help maintain a secure environment for passengers and aviation workers at one of the busiest airports in the region.

We prioritize growth from within – 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to join our operations teams.

What Does an Aviation Security Officer Do?

As an Aviation Security Officer, you will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your key responsibilities will include conducting patrols, monitoring for security breaches, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity.

  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times.
  • Accommodate all passengers respectfully, remaining calm and professional in all situations.
  • Ensure the passenger screening process is efficient, thorough, and prioritizes passenger comfort.
  • Secure confiscated items in a location inaccessible to passengers.
  • Regularly inspect equipment to ensure it functions optimally and complies with safety standards.

    • Qualifications to Become an Aviation Security Officer :

  • Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard License
  • Provide a clean Drivers Abstract
  • Status : Canadian citizen or permanent resident (for over 5 years)
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent Computer Skills and monitoring
