B2B Marketing Specialist

This is a great career opportunity to join a well-established market research company, as their first ever Marketing Specialist. This company is a leader in industry-specific market research, and they promote their services to professionals across Canada and the US.

The company compiles their research findings into a variety of visually appealing reports and presentations. So if you’re a marketer who has an interest in both the art and science of marketing, this could be a great role for you. A background in market research, statistics or analytics would be a strong match for this role.

The position itself will offer a lot of variety from day-to-day. You will be leading a wide variety of marketing activities, including content creation, email marketing, and increasing presence and engagement through social media. Your target audience will be corporate clients, so experience in B2B marketing will be most suitable for this role.

This company offers a ‘remote first’ working environment, so you will work primarily from your home office. The team members are primarily in the Vancouver area, and there are period get-togethers with other staff in Vancouver through out the year. Applicants for this role should be living in the Vancouver area, or nearby.

This role is best suited if you consider yourself a generalist marketer who enjoys doing a wide variety of tasks. Since this is the first time for the company to have a dedicated, in-house marketing person, there is still lots of ‘blank canvas’ and a chance to setup processes and tools from scratch. At the same time, you will be well-supported and you’ll be joining a mature company that has extensive content and marketing assets already available. Your job will be to combine all these ingredients and take their marketing and communications to the next level.

This is a full-time position, and includes a competitive base salary, paid vacation and extended health and dental benefits.

• You reside in the Vancouver area (or nearby), and you’re comfortable with a ‘remote first’ working environment
