Parking Ambassador

Job Summary :   Precise ParkLink is seeking a Parking Ambassador (PA) to work on-site at the Montfort Hospital. The PA will be the point of contact on site for customer service, inquiries and assistance where required. The PA will train on basic machine functions & repairs. The Site Manager for City Hall garage will oversee this position. Location : Ottawa, ON Employment : Part-time Hours :  Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM Compensation : $18.00 / hour PA will be provided with uniform and outdoor apparel. Qualifications : Background in customer service Ability to de-escalate situations should they arise; must be well- mannered & level headed Ability to work, walk, & stand outdoors 5hours / day Capable of learning & absorbing training in a quick & efficient manner Criminal and credit records check required at time of hire Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Assist customers by directing them to the proper parking area Perform thorough routine inspections and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment within realm of training Look after all consumables and provide basic equipment support services Ability to work outdoors Mandatory health & safety training required to be completed upon hire Mandatory Attributes : Must be punctual and self disciplined Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and in team environment towards a common purpose Bilingualism is a strong asset
