We're partnering with our client, one of Calgary's to residential builders to hire a Procurement Manager for an immediate, full-time opportunity. This role will lead procurement strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization to support operational excellence and company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement processes and standardize procedures.
- Manage tenders, contracts, and supplier onboarding.
- Build and assess supplier relationships using performance metrics.
- Drive cost savings through value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Ensure supplier compliance with all regulatory, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.Experience in residential development / construction.Professional certifications (CSCP, CPSM, SCMP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) considered an asset.Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation.Estimation experience considered an asset.Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Demonstrated ability to manage risks, optimize costs, and improve processes.Why Apply?
