As our Financial Controller , you will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. You will play a key role in financial planning, cash flow management, and supporting our executive team with financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.

The Role

• Oversee the company’s financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions (Canada, US, Europe, and Latin America).
• Ensure compliance with ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises) and manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Supervise tax compliance (VAT, sales tax, and corporate tax) and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors during the year-end audit / review process.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow and implement best practices for working capital management.
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with multiple departments at Planned to enhance, optimize, and streamline operational processes.
