Securiguard is currently accepting applications to join our team of Airside Safety Escorts at Vancouver International Airport. Seasonal opportunities will begin in March 2027 and run through October 2027.The Airside Safety Escort Program is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all persons airside and within the Terminal, while maintaining strict compliance with Aviation Security protocols. Due to the extensive training and clearance requirements for these roles, interviews will begin over the coming months.Explore a future with Securiguard-Vancouver Airport's longest-serving security contractor. Our collaborative team works together to ensure YVR's global travellers, partners, and staff feel safe and supported every day.Duties Include:Escorting individuals into the Restricted Area of the airportVerifying documents of entitlementNotifying the Airside Safety Officer (ASO) and Terminal Duty Officer (TDO) upon entering and exiting the airfieldReporting any safety and/or security incidents to the ASO, regardless of severityMaintaining continuous visual contact with escorted individualsEnsuring all vehicles entering the Restricted Area have valid Vehicle Permits and/or Temporary Vehicle PermitsRequirements:Completion of post-secondary education in security, construction, or operations is an assetComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsAvailability to work all shifts-days, evenings, overnights (graveyards), weekdays, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work 8-12 hour shifts, based on client requirementsValid Class 5 BC Driver's LicenseClean Driver's AbstractValid BC Security Worker LicenseClearance Requirements (AVOP & RAIC) & TrainingCandidates must obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC), which requires a comprehensive background check covering the past five years of Canadian history.
