Our Red Chris operation is now recruiting for the position of Journeyperson Millwright with a competitive hourly rate of $55.14. The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills and competencies with consideration to internal equity.

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.

Purpose of the Role

To perform maintenance and construction duties as a fixed plant mechanic (Millwright) within the Mill Maintenance team. To safely perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks to optimize equipment availability, and the Mill Maintenance team’s performance.

Accountabilities

• Repair, adjust, maintain and improve stationary equipment in a 30, ton per day crusher plant and concentrator
• Follow OHS, Mines Act and Red Chris Policies and Procedures
• Able to work outdoors in severe conditions
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Able to work day or night shift as required
• Provide mentorship and assist training of apprentices
• Champion safe work practices
• Required to work in maintenance management systems
• Required to log information and create reports
