Product Owner

Our client, is seeking an experienced, highly strategic Product Owner to drive the product vision and roadmap for critical banking solutions.

In this high-visibility role, you will act as the primary voice of the customer, utilizing a human-centered design approach to shape, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog. Operating within a distributed Agile framework, you will lead cross-functional delivery teams, validate ideas through iterative feedback loops, and make key decisions that ensure technology solutions align with customer needs and business strategy. As a subject matter expert in software product management, you will provide strategic advisory, resolve complex multi-team challenges, and foster a culture of product innovation and continuous improvement.

Duration: 1-Month Contract (with potential for extension)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site at the corporate office)

Responsibilities
Vision & Roadmap Management: Lead the development and continuous refinement of the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer insights, market trends, and business objectives.

Backlog Governance & Prioritization: Define, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, translating customer feedback and data into actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.

Human-Centered Design Execution: Validate and test ideas through recurrent user feedback loops to ensure continuous discovery informs timely direction changes and product enhancements.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, business, and QA teams to ensure seamless communication, goal alignment, and on-time delivery across sprints.

Agile Mentorship & Innovation: Champion best practices in Agile project management and innovation strategy to boost team productivity, product quality, and delivery velocity.



Qualifications
Professional Product Leadership: Proven track record as a Product Owner managing software products within an enterprise environment.

Banking Industry Depth: Mandatory experience operating within the Banking or Financial Services domain.

Agile Mastery: Master proficiency in Agile Project Management and software product management, with expertise in Agile methods and distributed Agile development.

Data-Driven & Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep experience applying human-centered design principles, analyzing user feedback, and using data to guide strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder & Advisory Skills: Outstanding communication, advisory, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decision-making across multiple cross-functional teams.
