Is your superpower turning everything into a song? Can you count by 4s, 6s, 12s and more? Do you have education in and experience with neurodivergence? Then, you might be the right nanny for our 2.75 year old daughter. We're looking for someone exceptional to look after her full-time starting in February (when I return to work) and part-time leading up to then. Our daughter is brilliant—she can read fluently, remembers absolutely everything and is deeply passionate about numbers. We have loads of fun making up songs, games and exploring the world together. She's also highly sensitive and doesn't respond to people in a typical way, which is why we're looking for a nanny who's truly special and will be able to both connect with her and help her grow. We also have a 14-month-old son who you'll get to know and help with daycare drop off in the morning. In terms of helping around the house, the only thing we're looking for is cooking. Here's what a typical day might look like starting in February: - 8AM - Daycare prep and drop off for son - 8:45AM - Takeover care of daughter - 10:00AM - Take daughter out for various activities (park, arts & crafts class, library etc.) - 1:00PM - Back home, lunch prep and playtime - 2:30PM - Cook dinner, 30 minutes independent playtime for daughter - 3/4PM - Clean up and finish day Skills and training we're looking for: - Early childhood education certificate - Specialized training in neurodivergence - First aid and CPR certification - Experienced cook (bonus points if you can share nutritious meal ideas for a picky eater!) - Driver's license (you must have your own vehicle, though we can discuss taking my car when available) Wage we're offering: - $25-$35 / hr based on qualifications and experience Leading up to February, we'd like to ease our daughter into a relationship with a new caregiver. We can discuss what that looks like further depending on your work needs. But essentially, we're looking to do a slow introduction where you spend time with me and my daughter until we're all comfortable with you taking over for a couple days a week. Our daughter is incredible, joyful, hilarious and whip-smart—her nanny needs to be able to actively engage with her while helping her further develop emotional regulation and social skills.
