Salary : $40,000-$42,000 per year

About the role :

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build their skills and grow within a well-established, supportive law firm environment. As an Administrative Assistant, youll play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of administrative and legal support tasks.

Youll work closely with our Operations, Finance, Legal, IT and HR teams to create a professional client experience and support the efficiency of legal and support staff.

In this role, you will :

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and clients
  • Managing incoming / outgoing mail and courier deliveries
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
  • Coordinate boardroom bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for meetings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared coffee and lunch rooms
  • Monitor and stock kitchen supply inventory
  • Organize and maintain central services / supply room
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and reorder supplies as needed
  • Support lawyers and assistants with miscellaneous administrative tasks
  • Assist with office projects and tasks as requested
  • Provide backup support for other administrative functions as needed.

Experience and skills we are looking for :

  • 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, friendly, and client-focused approach
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to occasionally life office supplies (up to 20 lbs)
