Location : Brockville, ON (Serving Smiths Falls / Perth / Brockville Hospitals / Lanark County Mental Health

Pay Rate : $18.35 – $21.48 / hour

Employment Type : Full-Time

Overview

Paladin Security is actively hiring dedicated Health Care Security Guards to support hospital and mental health facilities across Smiths Falls, Perth, Brockville, and Lanark County Mental Health . Health care environments require guards who are compassionate, patient-focused, and capable of responding confidently to dynamic situations.

In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and clinical staff. You will respond to emergencies, perform routine patrols, support staff with challenging interactions, and ensure hospital policies are upheld at all times.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols across assigned sites
• Monitor and supervise patients as required
• Apply conflict management, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and incidents
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports
• Investigate routine incidents and document findings
• Enforce parking and smoking by-laws and hospital policies
• Support hospital staff with policy awareness and enforcement
• Liaise with Paladin management, clinical teams, and clients to ensure operational needs are met
• Perform additional duties as assigned
