CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant (Entry level- Training Provided) to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Role Accountabilities :

• Ensuring accurate documentation of completed work as per policies and procedures
• Preparing prescriptions (gathering data from nursing staff) to be filled via pharmacy software
• Processing, adjudicating, and filling prescriptions
• Preparing compounds, creams, liquids, etc.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards

Location : This is on-site role at our Cambridge Pharmacy at 1165 Franklin Boulevard Unit L Cambridge, ON N1R8E1 and follows a five-day workweek with rotational shift on weekends.

Position Type : Contract, 12-month
