What Were Looking For

Are you looking to jump start your career in the Real Estate Division of Commercial insurance

If youre a self-motivated detail-oriented individual seeking growth opportunities and a team-oriented culture YOU can be our next Team Assistant. This position will be based out of our Burnaby Still Creek Head Office.

Requirements

• Level 1 General Insurance License preferred or willing to obtain.
• 1-2 years administration experience.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and can work independently as well as within a team
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook

A Day in the Life

• Issue and process documents such as policies certificates summaries proposals and cover notes
• Issue premium finance contracts
• Manage client invoicing and billing
• Verify policy accuracy and electronically check documents
• Maintain and develop forms rate sheets and reports
• Update account information using our Broker Management System
• Provide support to other teams on an as-needed basis for special projects

The expected salary range for this position is $45000 to $48000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits disability insurance RRSP matching paid-time-off benefits and eligible bonuses and commissions for some positions.
