KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all work is completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.Work directly with Engineering, Production, Procurement, H&S, and Customers on the seamless execution of landed projects.Ensure all Field crews have all the equipment, materials, and appropriately skilled personnel to complete the project.Source the rental equipment, confirming item is available when required. Request purchase order and coordinate delivery. Arrange return of item once rental is complete.Supervise and direct Project Coordinators where applicable.Work in a safe manner & adhere to all safety policies & proceduresAdhere to all Project Management policies and procedures.Review projects with Project Coordinators, Foremen and onsite crewsProvide mentorship, coaching and training to Project Coordinators, Foreman and Lead Hands as needed.Work with Field Services scheduler, Purchasing, etc. to resolve any anticipated staffing needs / changes and material purchases to avoid project delays.Responsible for quality control of all completed work both onsite and in-house.Gather all necessary project information and costs for the purposes of compiling and writing up change notices and out of scope work (extras).Source appropriately qualified subcontracting labour where required to meet job demands.Work with Purchasing, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.Work with TMG Finance team to ensure all paperwork (customer files, job files and quotes) are accurate and completed in a timely manner.Participate in weekly production meetings.May prepare accurate job estimates as part of an assigned portfolioAssist in obtaining new customers as requestedAlways conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanshipIn accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the companyAll other duties as assignedRequirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
4-10 years of project management experiencePMP certification or desire to pursuePost-secondary education preferred with a background in project management, mechanical design or electrical engineeringExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, time and budget management skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD True View.Familiarity with ERP systems with preference for experience working with Microsoft NAV DynamicsWilling and able to travel to customer locations as neededValid driver’s license and a clean driving recordASSETS
