As an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer , you'll contribute to projects that power homes, businesses, and industries across Alberta and beyond. Your work will help deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions.

Your Impact

• Design low to extra-high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and SCADA systems.
• Develop station physical layouts, ground grid designs, and structural plans that meet client standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed cable and conduit plans, foundation drawings, and lightning protection strategies.
• Support QA / QC processes to ensure deliverables meet WSP's high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate innovative solutions into complex projects.
• Conduct site visits and occasional travel to support project execution and client engagement.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT : $73,400 - $97,200

MB & ON : $67,000 - $92,200

ATLANTIC PROVINCES & QC : $66,300 - $88,000
