Financial Reporting Specialist (Corporate Costs and Directors Remuneration )

This role will primarily focus on managing corporate costs and overseeing the remuneration process for our Group’s Directors and Senior Management.

The remuneration for the Group’s Directors is published in the Remuneration Committee Report within the Group Annual Report and Accounts. Directors’ Remuneration is under relentless regulatory, political, media and public scrutiny. Companies are subject to a great deal of scrutiny on their executives and it is paramount that information disclosed is accurate and that it complies with the existing rules around both design and disclosure of Directors’ pay. In addition, part of the remuneration report has to be audited.

You will be responsible for the completion of the Emolument Certificates for the Directors and Senior Management of the Group. The role also has responsibility for preparing the numerical aspects of the Remuneration Report of the Annual Report and Accounts and the Key Management Personnel Remuneration Note to the Consolidated Financial Statements and to prepare information which will be ultimately presented to the Remuneration Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) of the Haleon Group.

Key Responsibilities include and are not limited to :

Corporate costs

Managing the process for monthly close of the Corporate P / L. Running SAP and Bison (SAP Financial Consolidation) reports to help with the month end cycle and assisting in providing meaningful commentary on the P / L and Balance sheet.

Contacting stakeholders to understand the nature of items being booked on the corporate P / L and Balance sheet.

Assisting with providing templates for the forecasting process as per Group requirement (CMF / ABP / LRP).

Directors Remuneration

Primarily responsible for the preparation and collation of Haleon Executive Team and Directors’ emoluments as at 30th Sept and 31 Dec for the inclusion of their information in the Annual Report and Accounts.

Working with the HR (Rewards team) and tax to ensure that the salaries for the Haleon Executive team and Directors are being calculated in line with policy and reported. Working with multiple third-party providers to ensure that all the necessary information for this activity is received on time. This role also plays a key role in ensuring that the disclosure is audited by KPMG and all queries are addressed on time.

Other responsibilities

Managing SOX controls for the area. Assisting with setting up Purchase orders, managing invoices / expenses for sundry area and ensure that the reporting is in line. Managing ad-hoc queries from finance partners, audit teams and management.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Previous experience in financial reporting, preferably within a corporate environment.

Proficiency in managing high volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency.

Strong proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and financial consolidation tools.

Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality, adhering to data protection regulations and company policies.
