The Global Mobility Coordinator at Autodesk supports the execution and administration of domestic relocation and global immigration programs, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and positive experience for employees and stakeholders. This role works closely with internal partners and external vendors to coordinate day-to-day mobility and immigration activities while maintaining accurate records, tracking cases, and supporting policy adherence across a global, matrixed organization.
This is a 6 month contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end domestic / in-country relocation activities for Autodesk employees, including new hires and internal transfers, in partnership with external relocation vendors
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees throughout the domestic relocation lifecycle, providing guidance on policy coverage, timelines, required documentation, and next steps
- Review and process manager-submitted relocation requests, assessing eligibility and recommended benefits in alignment with Autodesk’s global mobility policies
- Partner closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, People Consultants, and Payroll to support timely relocation initiation and accurate downstream processing
- Monitor and track active relocation and immigration cases using mobility systems and trackers, ensuring data accuracy, timely follow-ups, and issue escalation as needed
- Support compliance with global mobility policies, immigration requirements, and vendor service-level agreements, flagging risks or exceptions to senior team members
- Prepare and deliver employee communications related to relocation benefits, immigration services, and required actions
- Assist with relocation and immigration-related reporting, audits, and data requests
- Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies, updating standard operating procedures, and supporting program enhancements
Minimum Qualifications
Prior experience in global mobility, immigration and relocation coordination, human resources, or a related operational support roleWorking knowledge of global immigration and general relocation concepts, would be idealStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, global environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, managers, and vendorsHigh attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability when handling sensitive and confidential informationProficiency with HR systems, case management tools, spreadsheets, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Workday, Excel, Sharepoint, Airtable or similar tools)#LI-MB1
