Job Description:

• Élaborer et piloter la stratégie annuelle d'échantillonnage et de surveillance de l’exposition des employés et de l'environnement.
• Réaliser des campagnes d’évaluation des risques (bruit, contaminants, agents chimiques et biologiques), de la planification terrain et l'échantillonnage jusqu'à la présentation des résultats et recommandations.
• Agir à titre de spécialiste pour l'approbation et l'introduction de nouveaux produits chimiques et procédés industriels afin de garantir la prévention à la source.
• Développer et déployer les programmes d'hygiène industrielle (protection respiratoire, auditive, agents chimiques et biologiques) et assurer la formation des équipes.
• Effectuer une veille réglementaire et analyser les tendances des données d'hygiène pour identifier proactivement les pistes d'amélioration.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les spécialistes en hygiène du réseau Airbus (Europe) pour harmoniser les pratiques et outils.
• Soutenir les secteurs opérationnels au quotidien dans la gestion des écarts et lors des enquêtes d’incidents ou de maladies professionnelles.
• Recommander des mesures de contrôle (ingénierie, administratives, ÉPI) et rédiger des rapports techniques pour la direction et les autorités compétentes.

Vos défis

• Prévention : Mesurer l'exposition aux contaminants (poussières, bruit, produits chimiques) pour piloter l'implantation de solutions (ingénierie, substitution) qui éliminent les risques avant qu’ils n’affectent les travailleurs.
• Conseiller stratégique : Bâtir une crédibilité technique si forte que votre expertise en hygiène est sollicitée avant l'achat d'un nouvel équipement ou l'introduction d'un nouveau produit chimique.
• Vulgarisateur : Savoir vulgariser des données techniques complexes (rapports de dosimétrie, études toxicologiques) pour les rendre compréhensibles et mobilisatrices, autant pour la haute direction (en termes de diligence raisonnable et de ROI) que pour les membres du comité de santé et sécurité (CSS) et les travailleurs.
• Viser au-delà de la conformité légale : Ne pas se limiter aux seuils du RSST, mais créer un milieu de travail si sain qu'il devient une référence, protégeant activement la santé globale de nos employés et faisant de l'entreprise un employeur de choix dans le contexte québécois.

Votre profil

• Titulaire d’une Maîtrise en Hygiène Industrielle avec au moins cinq (5) ans d’expérience, idéalement acquise en milieu manufacturier.
• Bilinguisme complet (français/anglais) essentiel et excellente maîtrise des outils informatiques.
• Autonome et structuré(e), vous savez gérer les priorités et coordonner plusieurs dossiers simultanément.
• Doté(e) d'excellentes aptitudes communicationnelles, vous mobilisez les équipes par votre expertise et votre passion, sans avoir besoin d'autorité hiérarchique.
• Face à la complexité, vous faites preuve d'analyse et d'innovation pour proposer des solutions pragmatiques alignées sur les objectifs d'affaires.
• Vous conjuguez performance et plaisir au travail dans un contexte de changement, tout en gardant une approche profondément humaine.

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Industrial Hygienist to join its Environment, Health and Safety team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). As a specialist and advisor, you will play a key role in promoting best practices in industrial hygiene. Your mission will consist of:

• Developing and leading the annual strategy for sampling and monitoring employee and environmental exposure.
• Conducting risk assessment campaigns (noise, contaminants, chemical and biological agents), from field planning and sampling to the presentation of results and recommendations.
• Acting as a specialist for the approval and introduction of new chemical products and industrial processes to ensure prevention at the source.
• Developing and deploying industrial hygiene programs (respiratory and hearing protection, chemical and biological agents) and ensuring team training.
• Performing regulatory monitoring and analyzing hygiene data trends to proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating closely with hygiene specialists within the Airbus network (Europe) to harmonize practices and tools.
• Supporting operational sectors on a daily basis in managing deviations and during investigations of incidents or occupational diseases.
• Recommending control measures (engineering, administrative, PPE) and writing technical reports for management and competent authorities.

Your challenges

• Prevention : Measure exposure to contaminants (dust, noise, chemicals) to pilot the implementation of solutions (engineering, substitution) that eliminate risks before they affect workers.
• Strategic Advisor: Build technical credibility so strong that your expertise in hygiene is sought before the purchase of new equipment or the introduction of a new chemical product.
• Communicator: Ability to "translate" complex technical data (dosimetry reports, toxicological studies) to make them understandable and mobilizing, both for senior management (in terms of due diligence and ROI) and for members of the Health and Safety Committee (CSS) and workers.

Your boarding pass

• Holder of a Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene with at least five (5) years of experience, ideally acquired in a manufacturing environment.
• Full bilingualism (French/English) is essential, along with excellent mastery of IT tools.
• Autonomous and structured, you know how to manage priorities and coordinate multiple files simultaneously.
• Demonstrated communication skills, to mobilize teams through expertise and passion, without needing hierarchical authority.
• Faced with complexity, you demonstrate analysis and innovation to propose pragmatic solutions aligned with business objectives.
