The BEV Platform Program Manager - Power Electronics Components will be responsible for Global Power Electronics, eMotors, & EDM system and component execution, typically for a defined system or set of sub-components. The BEV Platform Program Manager - Power Electronics Components leads cross functional team and guarantees all deliverables and targets identified in the approved initiative over the product development lifecycle (timing, cost, performance, quality, etc.), be the single point contact for Product Team members for the given scope of work, and reports to Global Systems Family Manager.Responsibilities of the BEV Platform Program Manager - Power Electronics Components will be but not limited to : Manages all aspects of the assigned program to assure cost, timing, quality and performance achievementCoordinates cross functional Family team involved in program targets achievementBe responsible to ensures program budget achievement identifying all possible efficiencies vs. approved business caseEnsures procedures, best practices and methodologies application according to required standards and leads program documentation creation, monitoring and updating in line with Global Powertrain (Propulsion Systems) Development ProcessBe responsible to ensure product readiness to support approved launches while defining appropriate timing milestones for the given project and leading the change review meetingsReports programs status, risk management and issue resolutionIdentifies program requirements and assembles cross-functional department information / data to take decisions in the appropriate forum to meet program objectives Co-leads proactive Risk Management tasks with QM and Platform team (), tracks / leads risk status updateSupports the technical reviews / evaluations in respect to program targets / milestonesSupports Global Purchasing and Global Manufacturing strategiesLeads the responses to investigate / action bulletins related to product / process changesCoordination and implementation of Value Optimization and Quality improvement activitiesManages Product lifecycle, including support of Supply Chain and Logistics issues to guarantee production continuityThe company is committed to providing accommodation for people with accessibility needs due to disabilities in all aspects of the hiring process. If you request an accommodation, we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs due to disability.Requirements : Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent) EngineeringMinimum FIVE (5) years' experience in product development engineering with at least THREE (3) years of program management experience with an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplierStrong time cross functional team management skills along with superior written and oral skillsLegally eligible to work in Canadao Strong cross functional team management skills along with superior written and oral skills Program Management skillso Demonstrated ability to communicate and prepare presentations for Director / VP-Level leadershipo Minimum 5 years in product development engineering with at least 3 years of program management experience with an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Suppliero Hybrid Schedule : 2x per week onsiteo Travel to US required about once a month for meetingso No Driving a vehicle required Preferred Requirements : Program management or engineering experience with Electrical componentsAdvanced degree in Engineering (MSME or MSEE) or Business Administration (MBA) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or other training equivalentDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate to and prepare presentations for Director / VP level leadership
