Job Title : Logistics Coordinator

Position Type : Temporary (6 months) with possible extension

Location : Brampton, Ontario

Schedule : Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Work from home 1 day / week

Pay Rate : $23 – $25 / hour + 4% vacation pay

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator  to join our client's team for a temporary opportunity. This role focuses on planning and coordinating shipments, deliveries, and inventory management with customers and vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and execute inbound load bookings, scheduling, and closures in E2Open and customer portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.

Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and appointment scheduling.

Validate shipment data across systems, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues as needed.

Oversee POD collection and uploads, resolve billing or documentation errors, and process accessorial charges.

Generate reports on delivery performance and carrier metrics; analyze data to recommend process improvements.

Support system updates, testing, and training initiatives.

Provide clear communication and timely updates to internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth inbound operations.

Qualifications :

Minimum 3 years of experience in customer or vendor planning, or logistics coordination, preferably within the Canadian retail or distribution sector.

Experience using multiple customer and carrier portals for load booking, POD uploads, and billing.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with TMS or planning software

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
