Reporting to the Supervisor of School Based Clinical and Therapy Services, the Speech-Language Pathologist will support the speech and language development of students and capacity building in educators using a Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework. The successful applicant will provide screening, assessment, consultative, programming and direct services to support a varied caseload of students with a range of communication delays or disorders; from nonverbal complex communicators to highly verbal students. Other duties will be as assigned by the Supervisor of School Based Clinical and Therapy Services. The Speech-Language Pathologist will effectively collaborate with teachers and other itinerant team members, including assigning caseload and providing clinical direction to Communicative Disorders Assistants.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required;
• Professional certification with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CALSPO) is required;
• Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) is an asset.

Position Details

Position Effective Date & Length : Three positions available. Permanent CUPE, 35 hours / week. Working 10 months, paid over 12 months. Home location to be determined.

Compensation : Schedule B - $80,272 / annum - $84,932 / annum. Comprehensive benefit package and OMERS pension plan are provided.
