Child caregiver – private home

Salary : $20.85 hourly / 32 hours per week

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience : 7 months to less than 1 year

On site : Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment : Non-smoking; Scent free

Work setting : Employer’s home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note : This is NOT a condition of employment.

Target audience : Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Additional information : Public transportation is available

Tasks

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods
• Supervise and care for children
