Accounts Receivables Representative

We are seeking an Accounts Receivables Representative based in our Milton Office location to join the Finance team. This is a fully on-site role.

The annual salary range for this role is $55,000–$65,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.

What you will be doing:

The AR Representative, prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

• Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as EFT/ ACH/Wire, credit & debit card payments and unapplied cash.

• Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations, and perform root cause analysis.

• Initiate professional contact with internal customer service representatives and external customers as needed to support AR initiatives.

• Print or pull D&B credit reports/help with updating customer files

• Contact credit references, and/or obtain and review customer credit history through the credit check systems

• Contacts customers with delinquent accounts by phone and email, and regular mail to collect customer balances.

• Reconcile customer account discrepancies, over/under payments, credits, etc. & Record adjustment entries on customer accounts as required.

• Responsible for month-end activities such as customer account clearing, account clean-up and reconciliation, send monthly statements to customers.

• Other duties/projects as assigned.

What you bring:

• Diploma or Certificate in accounting, finance, or business.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as AR representative or Credit & Collections

• Written and spoken English language to a high professional business level

• A proven ability to maintain communication with internal and external customers on different organization level

• Able to work under time pressure; being continuously alert for accuracy on numbers and facts.

• Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel expert level, Power Point), SAP FI/CO module.

• Practice due diligence

• Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
