Currently Hiring : Janitorial Operations Specialist
Location : Head Office in Chilliwack
Hours : Full-Time | Monday-Friday
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years leadership / management experience : coaching, motivating, developing and leading a team
- Scheduling experience with the ability to pivot and adapt
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Intermediate knowledge and experience working with and creating Excel spreadsheets
- Administrative, reporting and logistical skills
- Flexibility in schedule for weekly and occasional after‑hours meetings
- Commercial janitorial knowledge and experience is an asset
- High school diploma and some post‑secondary education preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing, developing and improving work standards and systemsCreative problem solving, supervisory support and leadership to all staffSupporting new staff onboarding by creating training plans, managing and developing systems for tracking progress and identifying successes / gapsPlan and ensure regular inspections and quality reviews are planned and completed regularly by supervisorsPlan and manage scheduling of janitorial staff : recurring schedules, sick notice and other fill‑ins, and day‑to‑day troubleshootingCreating and managing delivery schedules, and providing training where neededWork alongside the HR coordinator on all hiring needs, staff changes and providing input on disciplinary measuresPayroll support : approving vacation requests, and hours worked for janitorial, delivery and supervisory staffCOMPENSATION
$50,000 – $60,000 commensurate with experience
