On behalf of our client, a leading national distributor serving customers across Canada with a commitment to speed, accuracy, and service excellence, we are presenting seeking a Distribution Center Manager to join their team. Their Edmonton distribution center is a high-volume, fast-paced environment that plays a critical role in their supply chain. We're seeking an experienced and driven Distribution Center Manager to lead operations, optimize performance, and inspire a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Position Overview

As the Distribution Center Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. You'll be responsible for managing a large team, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the distribution center, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization

• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service levels

• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance and accountability

• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal policies

• Foster a positive, high-performance culture through coaching, training, and team development

• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution

• Manage budgets, inventory accuracy, and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management

• Proven leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred

• Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
